Based in Depoe Bay, Oregon, we offer fishing charters, crabbing trips, whale watching, scenic ocean tours, and memorial services along one of the most beautiful stretches of coastline in the Pacific Northwest.
Whether you're chasing your first salmon, filling the freezer with rockfish and crab, watching whales surface alongside the boat, or simply enjoying a day on the water with family and friends, our goal is simple: provide a safe, memorable, and authentic Oregon Coast experience.

Our Story
Tribute Charters is more than a business to us. It's the realization of a dream that started hundreds of miles from the Oregon Coast.
Co-Owner & Operator, Captain Roland Wilson has been fishing the Pacific Ocean since he was young enough to need help buckling a life vest. Originally from San Diego, California, Roland brings more than 20 years of ocean angling experience to Tribute Charters. His approach combines time-tested fishing knowledge with modern techniques, always focused on providing a safe, enjoyable, and productive day on the water.
Co-Owner, Lauren Wilson, also from San Diego, is Roland's wife and partner in every sense of the word. Together, we made the decision to leave behind the familiar and pursue a life built around our passion for the ocean, adventure, and the outdoors.
Not long after meeting and falling in love in San Diego, we took a trip to Oregon and immediately felt a connection to the rugged coastline, small-town charm, and incredible fisheries. What started as a vacation quickly became a vision for the future. Within a few short months, the pieces began falling into place, and we found ourselves making the move north.
Today, we're proud to call Depoe Bay home.
Tribute Charters was built on a love of fishing, a respect for the ocean, and a desire to create memorable experiences for others. Whether you're a lifelong angler, introducing your kids to fishing for the first time, crossing a species off your bucket list, or simply looking for a day of adventure on the water, we're honored to be part of your journey.

Though they are no longer with us, their guidance, friendship, love, and influence continue to travel with us every time we leave the harbor. Their memories remain woven into the story of Tribute Charters and forever anchored in our hearts.
